What Can I Help With?
I work with a wide range of clients including those within the LGBTQ+ community, those with various neurodiversities, physical disabilities and complex needs.

Anxiety

Anxiety can be debilitating and impact your daily life. I offer evidence-based therapy to help with any capacity of anxiety. Therapy can help you understand and manage these feelings and regain control. I will work with you to identify the root cause of your anxiety and work collaboratively with you to soothe this feeling effectively.

Bereavement

Losing someone can feel like the greatest pain of all. You may be struggling to accept this person is gone and not know what to do with the grief you have been left with. There may be feelings of denial, sadness, anger and numbness. Together we can talk about how this loss has impacted you and I can help you to manage the emotions surrounding grief.

Depression

Depression can affect every aspect of your life, creating a sense of stagnation and make it difficult to find joy in life. You may find everyday life a challenge. It may be affecting your self esteem. Together, we can pinpoint any root cause or causes for depression and manage the symptoms in an effective way to improve your quality of life.

Trauma

Trauma is an umbrella term that describes a lasting emotional response that often results from living through a distressing event. This may impact upon an indiviual's sense of safety, sense of self, and ability to regulate emotions. For example, this trauma may be in the form of childhood abuse or sexual assault. Therapy is an effective way of unearthing the emotions surrounding these experiences in a safe environment, resulting in a happier and richer quality of life.

Relationships

Relationships (past or present) with partners, parents and others close to you can be challenging at times and impact your mental health. You may have experienced abuse in a relationship and may be struggling to navigate your emotions. Having a third person, who is free of bias, to talk to can relieve the burden of living in your own head. Talk therapy can offer you helpful insights about relationships and help you move forward.

Someone to talk to

A misconception about therapy is that something has to be 'wrong' to embark on a therapeutic journey. However, I offer my services to anyone who would simply like someone to talk to. Anyone who would like to be listened to and treated with warmth, empathy and compassion in a space where they will not be judged is welcome.

There is no wrong criteria for anyone looking to enter therapy.
